As Darkstar, I immerse myself in the world of music,

crafting soundscapes that are as deep and vibrant as my artistic vision. Influenced by the underground rave scenes of France and enriched by my life in Mexico, my DJ sets and productions blend genres to create immersive, unforgettable experiences.

Part of the global bass movement, my music journey began with a deep love for hip hop and reggae, evolving into a passion for breaks, drum and bass, and electronic music. Known for my high technical skills, I incorporate scratching, quick mixing, and syncopated beats into my performances, creating dynamic and engaging sets. I am equally adept at mixing house and techno, using loops and vocals to achieve a profound, hypnotic depth.

My sound is strong and dark, designed to captivate the dancefloor and take listeners on an emotional journey. Whether behind the decks at a live event or in the studio producing new tracks, I aim to connect with my audience on a deep emotional level, guiding them through a journey of sound and rhythm.

Study

Started playing piano at age 5, transitioning from classical to jazz improvisation.

Earned an MFA in Electronic Music Production and Media Jockey from G Martell Music School in Mexico City.

Enjoys a "scratch for breakfast" routine when not traveling. Passionate about turntablism and records, also about exploring the latest in DJ technology and equipment.

Came back to DJing after a long pause, now performing at parties and clubs in Mexico, France, and the USA.

Always enthusiastic about collaborating with others and exploring new musical frontiers.
